I'll just say that life in Tampa is REALLY good.
In the way of "news" -
I moved into an apartment in Temple Terrace, have a wonderful roommate and love living here so far. We just got internet installed in our house, too, which is great! We will hopefully be getting some furniture in the next little bit, which is kind of exciting...at least to me! I talked to Amanda tonight and it sounds like Carla's coming to town next week, so I'm going to try to get up there while she's here so I can see her and also retrieve my computer desk from Amanda and Nate's house. My computer is currently residing on the floor, with my monitor on a box that my lamp came in...which is super classy, I know! It's totally okay if you're jealous that I'm living in the lap of luxury! :)
I signed up for a photography class at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts...it starts at the end of July and goes for five weeks. I'm SO excited! I'm hoping that taking this class will help me learn some of the things about photography that I don't know. I'm also excited to be able to do something that will help me meet more new people in the area. Aside from the fact that when people get in their cars around here it's like they're ALL driving to or away from a fire, the majority of the people I've met have been really nice. It must have something to do with the nice weather and having the water close by...I know that helps me out a lot! Ha, ha!
There are *hopefully* good things on the horizon for me as far as future employment goes. That's all I really feel at liberty to say right now about that.
I'm building some really strong, solid and honest relationships here, which has been a great thing. I've learned a lot about myself because of the people I've met here and I'm so grateful for that.
Okay. That's pretty much everything I can say right now. I'll try to be better at writing...in case anyone cares!!!
